Welcome to Journey of Misfits Dog Training
Dogs serving Military, Law Enforcement and First Responders

Welcome to Journey of Misfits Training, where dogs are family. Our Journey has brought us to Alabama, bringing with me is 25 years of experience training dogs. I work with ANY DOG. It’s not the breed that is a problem. I work with the behavior. My years of experience has now led me to evaluating and certifying for therapy and service dogs.

Training dogs is about understanding what a dog is saying. I help you understand your dog. To bring handler and dog together to form a positive relationship. With so many different techniques to train a dog it’s important you connect with the trainer. Absolutely NO need to hit a dog, that’s just a frustrated trainer who does not know how to get results. Training is about having fun, taking small steps for the big win. It’s truly rewarding to see your dog grow into the dog I knew it could be and you wished it would.

Service dog applications MUST contact Angela at 651-230-7774
Therapy dog requires phone interview and on site evaluation. (No charge).

I am now taking assessments, in home or on location training.
Please contact Angela for further information at 651-230-7774 (Text or call)

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called the Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to the Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.

The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head & you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

...Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together
