Angela
has been our trainer for several years. It started when,
at 6 months old, we knew our puppy had a strong desire to
protect our family - meaning friends were afraid to come
in our home! We were so impressed with her ability to deal
with a dog that had aggression issues and the care she took
with our older dog who was just tagging along to class.
After our older dog passed away, we thought it would be
a great idea to get another 100+ lbs dog who had no training.
The first place we went, back to Angela to teach him the
basics! She is such a positive, fearless trainer that can
help any dog - she is Minnesota's dog whisperer. We
value her friendship and will continue to take our dogs
to her facility. We are SO excited that she opened
her own place...Christmas in November!

Angela helped us to bring the
best out of our dog!
Angelas ability to train our twelve-year-old son to
become a consistent, amazing dog owner was more than wed
ever thought possible.
When we began working with Angela, we would never have dreamed
that we could take our dog for a walk while holding a cup
of coffee!
Under Angelas guidance, our dog was impossible to
walk, wouldnt come when you called her, and excited
beyond control when guests came by. Today, she heels, follows
our commands, and is enjoyed by our guests.
The distance weve come with our dog in such a short
time is amazing. Id recommend Angela for any dog training
challenge.
Angela has a gift with dogs. She speaks there language,
and helped us learn to speak it to.
Ive never seen such confidence and mastery in working
with dogs as what Angela modeled, and taught to us.
Angela combines the universal methods and customized them
to our specific needs, helping us to address all of our
challenges.
Angela is an amazing, positive experience. Her love for
animals translates into results.
With Angela, our dog became the member of our family wed
always hoped for.

I have known Angela for several
years and was impressed with her commitment and dedication
to dogs and dog training. I was impressed to the
level of recommending her to become a TDI evaluator.
Angela is serious about training dogs but also has a high
level of love for the dogs. I appreciate Angela's
desire and work ethic. I would recommend her to anyone
looking for a one on one obedience training.

When I rescued a Pit Bull,
I knew I would be faced with nasty looks and comments from
strangers everywhere we went. Making sure I had a very well
behaved pit bull was extremely important to me in the hopes
that I could change even a few minds about the breed. The
pittie mix I fell in love with, Macy, just happened to have
dog-reactive tendencies. The last thing I wanted was for
people to be afraid that she would attack their dog. Angela
helped me to learn how to work with Macy's reactivity so
I didn't have to run the other direction when I saw another
dog coming down the street. When I decided my heart and
home had room for another pup, Angela did me the tremendous
favor of being a reference on my rescue application for
Cooper, my Cavalier King Charles. She blew the rescue folks
away with her kind words, and I can never thank her enough
for that. My furry little family will be forever grateful
for everything Angela has done for us!

This is Peanut, a high spirited
new addition to our family! Given our lives have enough
chaos with 3 children we knew we needed a well trained dog.
Angela came highly recommended by a good friend and she
has been a Godsend! Angela has guided us every step of the
way and has worked very well with our family as a whole.
Peanut, well mainly her owners, have learned a good deal
and we are looking forward to continuing to train with Ms.
Angela!!

I look up to my mom, I see
how hard she works and wants to succeed, It inspires me
to become a business owner myself. What my Mom does everyday
dealing with aggressive dogs to just plain old stubborn
dogs makes me see how much patience she has, even though
she will be the first one to admit that sometimes she doesnt.
Dogs are a huge part of my life because of my mom, it can
be a pain in the butt to take care of them, and very frustrating
to train them but in the end when you look back and realize
how far your dog has come you think it was worth it.

Who says you cant teach
an old dog new tricks? With Angelas assistance, we
now have the best dog ever! Sammy was a stud dog at a puppy
mill in Missouri before his rescue. The vet estimated that
he was probably 4-5 years old when we got him. Up until
that time, his life had been living in a cage so we needed
to start at the beginning. Through Angelas beginning
obedience class Sammy learned sit, down, stay, wait,
and leave it. Sammy loved going to class and seeing
all the other dogs and getting a treat from Angela after
hearing her clicker confirm his success. Maybe even more
important to us, was Angelas guidance and encouragement
in housetraining Sammy and overcoming his separation anxiety.
Not a small task for a 5 year old dog whose new life was
living in a home. It took time, me reporting our progress
or lack of progress to Angela. Then she would make a new
suggestion, all the while being very positive, supportive
and encouraging. She could see what a good dog Sammy was.
Thank you, Angela for helping Sammy become the best boy
ever!

We have been training with
Angela for nearly four years and I cannot recommend her
highly enough. Angela trains with patience and a positive
attitude, making classes fun and engaging for both dog and
owner. She always asks about any concerns or training
issues we may be having outside of class, taking time to
address all concerns and come up with possible solutions.
Lola started training as an unruly, sassy, stubborn three-month-old
puppy and is now a calm, well-trained dog who receives many
compliments on her behavior, thanks entirely to Angela's
skills as a trainer. Her positive attitude and wealth
of knowledge in training has also helped me become more
confident in my handling, benefiting both Lola and myself.

I have been training with Angela
for the past 3 years. We were brought together because
of my feisty Cairn Terrier- Tobie! I previously had
a cairn who had very little training and I thought Tobie
would be a piece of cake. I was wrong! He has tested
me and my patience in every way possible. Without
the guidance-training & knowledge Angela has given
me, I wouldn't have the wonderful furry family member
that I do today. Angela has taught me that training
for a dog or human never really stops. I am forever
grateful that Tobie brought her into our lives! I would
highly recommend Angela as a trainer. She is a truly gifted!

We first started training with
Angela roughly 3 years ago. Our youngest Cairn terrier,
Riley, was 10 years old at the time. Our good friend had
recently brought a new Cairn terrier puppy named Tobie into
her family. Riley and Tobie had some issues getting along
after the initial couple of months.
Enter Angela and her extraordinary talents.
During her initial assessment Angela was able to not only
immediately assess some of the areas to work on with the
dogs, she was equally adept and had an uncanny ability to
understand the personalities of each of the 3 humans in
the situation as well. Her innate understanding of dogs
behavior and her natural confidence and presence while handling
them is truly amazing to witness. We trained for a year
in private lessons beginning to learn how to address and
identify behaviors before they escalated. And we never had
a class without laughter and a really good time for both
two-legged and four-legged students. Riley started showing
signs of what we thought to be arthritis, given his age.
Riley was unfortunately diagnosed with Cancer. This Cancer
resulted in fairly aggressive inoperable tumors in both
his jaw and inside his rear leg which impaired his ability
to walk on floors without mats. Angela showed an incredible
amount of compassion and understanding for his situation.
We wanted to keep life for Riley normal and active for as
long as possible. Without hesitation Angela tailored the
private lessons to Rileys unique circumstances and
did most of the training in the training ring. Riley was
incredibly engaged at each class session and would thrive
on the homework assignments, which would include
putting three or four cups in front of him or two closed
fists and asking him to touch the one with the
treat. He learned this almost immediately and showed so
much enthusiasm and excitement and was always smiling when
he saw the cups come out to play this game. Riley showed
a superheros strength, grace and dignity right up
until this end of his life and he managed to stay in class
for as long as possible.
Angela, needless to say, has had an immeasurable impact
on our lives and the lives of our fur-babies. Some things
are hard to sum up in mere words. We will be forever grateful
for the love and truly inspirational talents she has shared
with us and our four-legged children.
We look forward to training with our new Golden Retriever
puppy and know Angela will obviously be an integral part
of his training future.

I have known Angela for over
25 years and know that her passion is working with dogs.
Angela has the biggest heart and is so calm around
dogs, I feel as though they understand and speak her language.
Angela has taken care of my dachshund several times over
the past few years and I always know that he is in the best
of care. He actually gets excited when he sees her,
she is like his second mom!
I highly recommend Angela to anyone who would like their
beloved pet to be trained with love and care.

Angela is a well respected
and caring dog trainer.
We have been taking lessons from Angela for about 2 years,
and we feel our dog Drake and our family has learned a lot.
It takes a special person that loves dogs to work with them
as much as she does!

When we began training with
Angela four years ago, we had no idea how to train a dog.
Angela was amazing with all of us (even MY posture improved!)
We learned so much from our classes with Angela. We were
like a family and our dogs all bonded as well. Angela was
always willing to stay after class and answer specific questions
that we had. Angela's classes were so fun and informative
that we looked forward to going each week. In
fact, when our beginner class ended, we continued with Angela
for the intermediate and advanced classes. Gracie became
a certified therapy dog, thanks to Angela's encouragement and
mentoring. We are looking for another dog now, and are looking
forward to going back to Angela for more training and fun!
We love her!

I have attended Angela's classes
for over five years due to her excellent dog training skills.
I have seen even the most stubborn (my pug being one
of them) dogs respond effectively to her commands and she
has enabled me to do the same.
With Angela's help, I have been able to train my pug Shelby
to be a Therapy dog. For the past 3 years, Shelby
has been able to be a positive distraction to patients and
staff at Region's hospital, all thanks to Angela's encouragement,
experience and wisdom.
I can't thank Angela enough for the effect being a therapy
team has been on my and my dog's life.
I also have a husky mix rescue who was so timid and scared
when I first got him. I enrolled him in Angela's classes
right away and he has really come out of his shell! Angela
is helping me to effectively work on his confidence so hopefully
he can become a therapy dog soon.
I love the way Angela keeps her classes fresh with new ideas
but always emphasizes repetition and practice to effectively
train our dogs. I know she will be a total success
in her own business and would refer anybody looking for
a good dog trainer to her.
Sincerely,
Christy Frye |

When we lost our last puppy
in 2013, we decided to rescue a puppy that came from an
abusive background. Gypsy had behavior issues that we needed
to work through. Gypsy needed some structure in her life
and Angela helped us work through them and we worked out
the social issues she had. Gypsy now has great social skills,
she is the greeter for the History Cruze Car Show, being
pet by hundreds of people every Friday, during the car show
season, with no issues. Angela has worked wonders with her,
we can't thank her enough for all the work she has done.
We recommend Angela for anyone
that needs to socialize or train their dog.
